How it works

Tell Claude what you ate. Here's what happens next.

Chicken rice bowl from meal prep

Claude

Logged, 12:30pm. 546 kcal, 48g protein, 53g carbs, 16g fat.

Chicken breast 180g and rice 170g, same as your last bowl, broccoli 120g, and 8g olive oil, since the meal prep was pan-cooked.

Your dashboard fills in the moment Claude's numbers land.

The exchange and the pictures show a sample record, not a real person's.

Right then: the meal is checked.

One sentence became four foods, each with its amount. The chicken and the rice are the amounts you gave last time, from your own record. The oil went in because the bowl was pan-cooked, whether or not you'd have thought to mention it. Anything that doesn't fit gets a question in the same reply: a portion far off your usual, a Coke when Coke Zero is your usual, a label that doesn't add up.

On its own, Claude would estimate that sentence fresh each time, and the oil would depend on whether you mentioned it.

That evening: you mark the day complete.

When the day looks unfinished, Smacros checks in. You mark the day complete with a tap or a word: Everything's in, Some meals missing, Nothing logged, or Fasted. A half-logged day is never counted as a full one, so your numbers stay right and your plan keeps working.

In a chat there is no such thing as a finished day.

Next week: the same food, the same numbers.

Show a label once and that food is exact every time after. Every number says where it came from, a label you showed, a weight you gave, your memory, or an estimate, so you can always tell the solid ones from the guesses. And everything you log is kept across every chat and every device: start a new chat or switch phones and you pick up where you left off.

In a chat, next week's bowl is estimated fresh, and the number comes out different.

A month in: you can see whether it's working.

Every day you marked complete is on the calendar. Your target, what you ate and what the scale did sit side by side, week by week, and after four weeks on a target, Smacros tells you whether you're on pace. It also works out how much energy you burn from those days, so you can see what your eating predicts for your weight and change course early.

In a chat, nothing adds the meals into a day or the days into a week.
